Making play dough without cooking is an easy and fun way to entertain the kids. What you need: 1 cup salt; 3 cups plain flour; 60ml (1 tbsp) vegetable oil; food coloring; 250ml (1 cup) water Mix all the dry ingredients and add oil. Add the food coloring to water. Slowly add the water until the desired consistency is reached. Kneading will help to improve the texture, so let your kids get into it! Wrap the play dough up well after your child has finished playing with it in a ziplock bag (with all the air squeezed out) and then pop in an airtight plastic box. This way, it'll stay fresh for another day. Add the food coloring to the play dough and kneed on a plastic board if you don't want to turn your wooden chopping board a funny colour! Roll out the dough and use cookie cutters to make decorations. Use a straw to make a hole for hanging and then thread the air-dried shapes on to pretty ribbon or string to make a colorful garland.

Say Cheese Please is designed to improve your little one's art and craft ability while teaching them that with a little imagination ordinary household object can be turned into fun toys. What you need: Small Cardboard Box; 2x Bottle Tops of Different Sizes or One Bottle Top and One Button; 5c Coin Foil Paper; Pens/Pencils; Glue; Sticky Tape; Plastic Sleeve To begin you will need to cover the cardboard box with white paper which can then be decorated to personalize the camera. The larger of the two bottle tops should be fixed to the front of the box using sticky tape to form the lens. The smaller bottle top or coin can be glued or sticky taped to the top of the box to form the button and a piece of paper stuck on the back to be the view finder. If you wish any other buttons can be drawn onto the box. Once you have finished putting the cardboard box camera together you can cut the plastic sleeve so that the opening is at the top and sticky tape the sides to the back of the camera. This will form the view finder and your little one can begin drawing pictures to pop into this sleeve. Once the pictures are drawn your little one can begin taking photos and simply pull out a picture for each photo taken.
